From GoBlueWolverine's upcoming Aug. 1 issue:

The 2001 U-M recruiting class -- the upcoming 4th year seniors and ‘redshirt juniors' -- is the heart of the 2004 Wolverines. The 20 member class (now down to 15) was a highly ranked group coming out of high school (#3 by SuperPrep) and it has lived up to its billing, with 13 projected starters for the fall. And this is the class that has to provide ALL of the defensive team leadership as well. In fact, a case can be made that the fate of the 2004 Wolverines rests upon this group.
