The '04 U-M Football Team, Class by Class

Here's a teaser from the upcoming Aug. 1 GoBlueWolverine Magazine -- the Preseason Preview Issue.

Segment Three -- The 2002 Recruiting Class, Juniors and Redshirt Sophmores: this underrated class is starting to make its mark!

From GoBlueWolverine's upcoming Aug. 1 issue:

The 2002 U-M recruiting class (upcoming 3rd year juniors and ‘redshirt sophomores') is just starting to make its impact on the team. The 21 member class (all of whom remain on the team) was ranked #10 in the country by SuperPrep, and it may prove to be an underrated group. Up until this year WR Jason Avant and WR/KR Steve Breaston have been the only members of this class to have made much of an impact, but this year it will provide the team with three additional probable starters (QB Matt Gutierrez, DL's Larry Harrison and Gabriel Watson) and at least as many probable significant contributors.
