Wed. early morning report:

Under NCAA rules college coaches are now allowed to make one phone call per week to recruits. School has started in many areas of the country to some calls will need to wait, but one area where classes won't begin until the second week of September, gave the Michigan staff a chance to make a call this morning. "Yes, Michigan head coach Lloyd Carr called this morning and they talked briefly," the uncle of tight end Edward Dickson of Bellflower, Calif. High School told GBW. "Edward is at practice now and will be back later this evening. They don't start school until the 9th."

So far Dickson is the only one that GBW verified as receiving a call. Kentucky prospects Cory Zirbel and James McKinney are in school and haven't received any calls as of this morning. And by early afternoon, Justin King had only heard from USC (and did not set up an official visit).

GBW will have more coverage and interviews throughout the day, stay tuned to the GoBlueWolverine Victors Club Premium Message Board.
