Top athlete (WR/DB/QB) Antonio Bass (6-1, 190 lbs., 4.4 in the 40, 3.0 GPA) from Jackson, Mich. was doing homework late last night, but took our call:
Have you had a busy day taking calls?
"Yeah, coaches have been calling today. Coach Carr from Michigan, and coaches from Virginia Tech, Syracuse, Notre Dame, Purdue, North Carolina, Michigan State, Bowling Green. Those are the ones I can think of. There were other calls left on our machine too that didn't get through."
Did you set an official visit with Michigan?
"We talked about it. Coach Carr said he wants to get me over to Michigan for an official visit. Michigan is close to home and I've been there a few times already, but Coach Carr said that on an official visit I would spend the whole weekend and meet all the players and coaches and get to know them better. And my mom could come and meet everyone too. We did not set a visit date yet -- we all have to see what weekend works for us -- Michigan, me, and my mom."
Did you set any other visits?
"I have one official visit set so far -- I'm going to Virginia Tech this weekend. We'd set that one before."
GoBlueWolverine has seen Antonio twice in person in the last week- at his first game last Friday (Click HERE for the report), and at a practice (Click HERE for the report), where he told us, "Michigan is the leader."
