Taylor to Visit LSU, Will He Visit U-M?

Defensive lineman Terrance Taylor is off to LSU this weekend for his first official visit of the recruiting season. GoBlueWolverine Magazine spoke recently with Taylor about his future visit plans, will he stop by Ann Arbor this season?

Terrance Taylor will be making his first official visit of the season when he travels to Baton Rouge and the campus of LSU. Taylor made a one-day visit over the summer to the home of last year's Co-National Champion and enjoyed the stay enough to lift the Tigers into serious contention with the Wolverines for Taylor's services. Will Taylor also be paying a visit to Ann Arbor? "I don't think I'll take an official visit over there," he said. "I don't even think I'll go to any games. I've been to so many Michigan games there isn't much else for me to see."

Muskegon Head Coach Tony Annese told GBW during a scrimmage earlier that The Big Reds may hold the 6 foot 1, 285-pound Taylor out of their first game against Detroit Denby. The idea being avoiding tipping off their use of the big man to their conference opponents. It turns out Taylor did see action during the game. "They spent most of the time running away from me so I didn't get a lot of action," Taylor said. "I had a couple of tackles." Muskegon easily handled Denby 36-12.

The Big Reds opened OK Red Lakeshore conference play last (Thursday) night against Muskegon Reeths-Puffer and won 38-7. Muskegon takes on West Ottawa next Friday. GBW will catch up with Taylor upon his return from his LSU visit.
