Terrance Taylor Makes LSU Visit

It was thought that top instate DT Terrance Taylor was going to make his official visit to LSU on Sept 10, but he changed it to this weekend. Terrance is back and GoBlueWolverine reached him Sunday night.

GoBlueWolverine spoke Sunday night to top defensive tackle Terrance Taylor ('03 U-M Camper, 6-0, 285 lbs., 4.9 in the 40, 2.8 GPA/20 ACT) from Muskegon, Mich.

How did the trip to LSU go?

"The trip went great. The game against Oregon State was awesome. I had a lot of fun. Those fans are crazy, really loud."

Did the fans differ from Michigan fans?

"The Louisiana people are louder, crazier. I guess that's because they're in the SEC."

What did you do on your visit?

"I got to meet some of the LSU coaches, including Coach Saban of course. And I spent some time in town, and met some of the Louisiana people."

How did the people from Louisiana compare to those in Michigan?

"Well ... I'd say college football fans are ALL nuts. But it was fun to meet people that loved Tiger football."

Did your parents go with you?

"No, I went by myself."

As far as who leads for him:

"It's still Michigan and LSU. Now that I've had a chance to take an official visit to LSU, I see all the things that you can see and do at an official visit that you don't do otherwise. So I'm rethinking my decision not to make an official visit to Michigan. I haven't set anything up yet. I'll probably visit Florida too, and maybe Iowa."

And we asked him about his season so far.

"We play West Ottawa this Friday ... they're a pretty good team. We whipped Muskegon Reeths Puffer pretty good last week, 38-7."
