Here are LOTS of visiting <b>recruits</b> and possible recruiting targets spotted at yesterday's San Diego State game -- and more on kids spotted at Miami (Ohio) two weeks before.

San Diego State Game

- DT Terrance Taylor (Sept. 25 Iowa game offic. visit, '03 U-M Camper, 6-0, 285 lbs., 4.9 in the 40, 2.8 GPA/20 ACT) from Muskegon, Mich. He also makes his U-M official visit next weekend, for the Iowa Game.

- LM Isiaah Mims (6-2, 270 lbs.) from Haslett, Mich.

- Linebacker Sidney Hoyle (6-3, 200) from Flint Central

- LM Sean Matela (6-3, 245) from Grosse Ile, Mich.

- LB Justin Lyons (6-1, 210 lbs.) from Jenison, Mich.

- LB/S Sam Williams (6-2, 210) from Westland John Glen.

- OL Aaron Miller from Oswego, Ill.

- Ath. Michael Purdy (5-10, 170 lbs.) from Portsmith, Ohio.

- Junior QB Shane Tierney (6-2, 190 lbs) from Stevensville, Mich., Lakeshore.

- Junior WR Quinton Patella (6-3, 200) from Flint, Mich., Powers.

- Junior QB Sean Scanlon from Camden N.J., Catholic. He passed for over 1,600 yards as a soph. starter.

- Junior LM Bryant Nowicki (6-7, 350) from Bangor, Mich., John Glenn.

- Jr. RB/FB Obi Ezeh (6-1, 220) from Grand Rapids, Mich., Catholic Central.

- Expected but did not attend this time:
-Junior CB Darrin Walls (6-1, 195 lbs.) from Pittsburgh Woodland Hills, the alma mater of Steve Breaston and Ryan Mundy. U-M is considered his favorite.


Looking ahead: also make an official visit for the Iowa game next weekend: Cornerback Justin King (Sept. 15 Iowa game offic. visit, '04 U-M Camp Visitor, 5-11, 182 lbs., 2003 PSU Nike stats: 4.29 in the 40, 3.72 sec. shuttle {best of camp}, 37.1 inch vertical jump {best of camp}, 11 bench press reps., 3.0 GPA/900 SAT) from Monroeville, Pa., Gateway. He also has official visits scheduled for Florida (Oct. 2) and USC (Oct. 16), PSU (Nov. 16). He will enroll in college in January.
