Terrance Taylor is a Wolverine!

GoBlueWolverine Magazine just got off the phone with defensive lineman Terrance Taylor from Muskegon, Mich. High School. While he wanted to wait until Monday to announce his decision, it leaked out Sunday -- it's Michigan! Taylor gave US his reasons in this exclusive GBW interview.

When GBW first spoke with defensive lineman Terrance Taylor Sunday after his official visit to Ann Arbor, he still claimed LSU was his leader over Michigan. He made one slip that belied the truth by saying " ... when...if...I go to Michigan." The news broke before he was able to announce it himself and he confirmed with GBW this evening that he will play football for the University of Michigan. "Yes, I committed during the visit," he said. "We wanted to wait until Monday so we could let the local papers know, so I'm sorry for not telling you earlier."

Taylor is the 10th Wolverine commitment for the class of 2005 and while he gave Wolverine fans a scare after listing LSU as his favorite, the love for Michigan prevailed. "My parents were with me on the trip," he said. "Nothing against any of the other schools but Michigan felt the most comfortable for me, I know it's the right place for me to continue my football career."

Now that the news is out, the 6 foot 1, 285-pound Taylor said he is breathing a sigh of relief. "I'm glad it's over," he said. "I won't be taking any more visits. Now I can concentrate in the season."
