Michigan Coaches Hit The Recruiting Trail

With Michigan having a bye-week, the coaches have hit the road -- the recruiting road!

Who do you think there is in Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Ohio that the Wolverine coaches would want to scout and/or visit with their coaches?
GoBlueWolverine confirmed with Monroeville, Pa., Gateway coach Terry Smith that Coaches Carr, English and Loeffler were at Gateway yesterday (Thurs.) to talk to coach Smith -- head coach and stepdad of Cornerback Justin King (Sept. 25 Iowa game offic. visit, '04 U-M Camp Visitor, 5-11, 182 lbs., 4.3 in the 40, 3.0 GPA/900 SAT). The Michigan coaches talked with Coach Smith, and Coach English watched a Gateway practice. Note: according to Coach Smith, King still plans to announce his decision on Nov. 15th on ESPNews.

Today -- GoBlueWolverine sources in Virginia have confirmed to us that the same treatment is being given to cornerback Victor Harris (Oct. 29 MSU game official visit, 6-0, 185 lbs., 4.45 in the 40, 2.8 GPA) from Highland Springs, Virginia. Plus Harris' game tonight can also be scouted.

And then tonight, there will be a Michigan coach-or-coaches at Warren, Ohio, Harding High to watch the game of Michigan WR Commitment Mario Manningham (6-0, 180 lbs., 4.4 in the 40), and his teammate OL Rocco Cironi (6-6, 280 lbs.).
