After going down 16-14 in the 3rd quarter, something had to change for East Grand Rapids to continue their bid for the state championship. The solution? Feed the ball to Kevin Grady. After two earlier scores in the first half, Grady ran wild in the second half and put East Grand Rapids over the top 28-16 with two touchdowns in the second half. Kevin ended the game with a career high 382 yard performance. Grady was also instrumental on defense playing middle linebacker where he collected several tackles. East Grand Rapids will play Lowell for the region championship. After the game GoBlueWolveirne's Josh Turel interviewed Grady. Here is what Kevin had to say.

On his Performance:

"We had a great game plan going into it; most the credit goes to the offensive line because they did a great job tonight opening up holes."

"I think I had unoffically 386, four TD's ... I'm not for sure though" (offically it was 382 yards four touchdowns).

Was it a career high?

"Yea, career high."

Your thoughts on Michigan this year?

"They have a good team, I hope they do well and next year I'm looking forward to going down there and contributing to the team."

Are you eligible to practice at Michigan's Bowl Game practices?

"I don't think so, I don't think I can do that."

Are you going to make any more visits to Michigan?

"I'll probably go down for the Northwestern game and I take my official visit down there December 10th."

Has your brother (Kelvin-Sophomore) gotten any attention from schools to play basketball?

"I know he got some looks from Michigan, Purdue to play basketball and Michigan State."
