McKinney and Logan will visit Michigan together

Defensive stars James McKinney from Louisville, Ky. Central High School and linebacker Brandon Logan from Lexington, Ky. Catholic High are planning on coming up to Michigan together for their official visits. Will it be sooner rather than later?

When GoBlueWolverine Magazine spoke recently with defensive lineman James McKinney, he said his visit date to Michigan would depend on when his cousin, linebacker Brandon Logan, decided to take his official visit to Ann Arbor. When GBW spoke with McKinney again Saturday after his return from his official visit to Nebraska, it appeared a date was set. "I talked to Brandon (Friday) night and he said he was going up on the third," McKinney said. "If that's the case then that's when I'll go too."'s Scott Kennedy spoke with Logan Sunday, after his return from his official visit to Tennessee, and reported that Logan will indeed visit Michigan next weekend.

Michigan is at or near the top of the list for both players. While McKinney lists Louisville as the main competition for his signature come Signing Day, the Volunteers seems to be having a positive affect on Logan. "I had a great time. I loved it. That's the third time I've been there," Logan said about his Tennessee visit. "I've been there when they played Alabama. It was more of an electric atmosphere for that game, but it was still loud. They love their football there."

McKinney said he enjoyed his trip as well, even with the Huskers 26-20 loss to Colorado. "The game was real exciting," he said. "I enjoyed this visit but it's still Michigan and Louisville on top. I need to take the rest of my visits and see what's out there."
