Quarterback Jonathan Garner from Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Fla. was scheduled to take an official visit to Michigan this weekend. Garner had earlier committed to Florida, but the dismissal of Gator Head Coach Ron Zook changed things. However, the recent commitment to the Wolverines changed things again. "I canceled my trip to Michigan because of the commitment of Jason Forcier," Garner told GBW. "I haven't talked to the new head coach at Florida and I'll have to see if I fit into his new offense or not. I have a visit scheduled to South Carolina soon."

Garner's teammate, cornerback Avery Atkins, decided to tag along with Garner, also looking at other programs since the Zook firing.

Is Atkins still visiting Michigan? "I'm still going up later today (Saturday). I'll be leavinghere about 2:00." Avery told GBW. "I'll stay through Monday. I also have visits to Miami and Florida coming up."

Is there a chance Atkins will pull the trigger? "No, I'm not making my decision until National Signing Day," he said.
