6-foot-2, 220-pound linebacker Toryan Smith of Rome, Ga., High School is the No. 11 linebacker on Jim S'. national rankings. On Sunday, he updated his visit schedule, and when he'll be in Ann Arbor. "I'm going up (to Ann Arbor) THIS weekend," he said. "I know I said that last week, but I meant it for this coming weekend." Smith will also visit Notre Dame, where he camped last year. This will be his first trip to Michigan, he said last week.

Saturday is the final practice of the spring session for Michigan, and will begin at 1:00 p.m. It is open to the public and will be the last chance fans have to see the team before the fall.

Smith, reporting 14 offers when he last spoke with GBW, said two more schools have offered. "Virginia Tech and South Carolina offered me over the weekend," he said.

He said he wants to take all five of his official visits before making a decision. Oklahoma, Florida, Georgia, Auburn and Alabama are Smith's early top-five.
