Recruits at the 'Spring Game'

It was not a huge group of recruits in attendance at the final spring practice, reflecting the fact that Michigan only has 11 available scholarships at this time. But there were a number of prominent recruits -- as well as one surprise attendee, and one notable no-show.
The top attendees:

- Myron Rolle DB 6'2 210 4.53 Princeton The Hun School New Jersey. Jim S' #1 DB came to Ann Arbor on Friday with his older brother and got a tour of the U-M medical school facilities (the 4.0 GPA student's intended career). Rolle will make an early decision and enter college in January, so his unofficial visits this spring to U-M , Oklahoma and the Florida schools may end up replacing his official visits.

- Michigan's 1st commitment, Brandon Graham LB 6'1 235 4.40 Detroit Crockett Michigan.

- Toryan Smith LB 6'0 241 4.61 Rome Georgia Smith. Jim S' #11 LB made a Friday visit.

- Bartley Webb OL 6'6 285 5.40 Springdale Arkansas. The teammate of QB Mitch Mustain is Jim S' #30 OL and has a U-M offer.

The top surprise attendee:
- Chris Wells RB 6'2 220 4.50 Akron Garfield Ohio. Jim S' #2 RB attended the '04 U-M Camp, but is an OSU commitment.
