Pittsburgh (Pa.) cornerback Darrin Walls (6-1, 180, 4.4) says Michigan, Notre Dame and Florida lead slightly over Penn State and Pittsburgh. All have offered.

"I like these three teams a lot but I'm still also really considering Penn State and Pitt as well," said Walls, from Woodland Hills High School.

"I really like coach (Ron) English (secondary) of Michigan. He seems like a nice coach. I've spoken with him a couple of times. I've also heard a lot of good things about their program from Steve Breaston (wide receiver) and Ryan Mundy (safety). They both go there now and they used to go to Woodland Hills.

"I was also at Michigan last season for their game against Minnesota. I really like the fans there.

"I'm going to Notre Dame this weekend (4/23) for their spring game," he said. "Their academics are the first thing that comes to mind when I think about the school and program. I'm going to figure out more on them this weekend.

"I like the weather at Florida the most. I spoken mainly with coach (Chuck) Heater (rec coord/cornerbacks) from there. They sound very interested in me and I might take a trip there.

Walls has already unofficially visited Ohio State, Michigan, West Virginia and Miami.

"I was recently at Miami (4/8-10) to catch their spring game. I went with my buddy, Wesley Lyons (wide receiver). "They haven't offered me yet," said Walls.

He has been to Pittsburgh's JR Day and is undecided on his summer plans.

Walls claims 20 total offers including Oklahoma, Georgia Tech, Georgia, Kansas and Tennessee. Louisville was the first to offer.

"I want to make my decision during or after the season.

"I've got great vision and I want to work on my strength and conditioning."
