"I don't have a top five yet," said Rolle, from Princeton The Hun School. "I'm looking at all of the schools out there and I need to get everything straight about them so that I can make an informative decision on committing. I've still got the plan to commit to a program by the end of August.
"This Friday (6/3) I'm going with my parents and my brother for an unofficial visit to Florida. I decided to trip there because, for one, they're a very good school as far as the curriculum goes in science and in medicine. And coach (Urban) Meyer has been personally recruiting me very hard and he's done a great job at it, sending me e-mails and making phone calls to me all the time. He's been consistent at coming at me and he's shown a great effort in doing that.
"I like the defense at Florida. It's very fast and I feel that my kind of style of play could fit in there.
"I also want to unofficially visit Florida State and maybe even Texas this summer. Other than that, I don't have any plans to do any camps or combines. I'm going to be training a lot this summer in preparation for the season," he said.
"Florida State has been a childhood favorite of mine. I always liked watching the guys that came out of there, like Deon Sanders, and my family and I have always been pulling for them to win. I like the school there and the people are all real nice and friendly in Tallahassee.
"Coach (Mickey) Andrews (defensive coord) has been by my school a few times and he's told me that I could make an immediate impact on the team if I were to go there. Plus, coach (John) Lilly (tight ends/rec coord) has been recruiting me since my sophomore year and he's been a great soldier at it. They're definitely up there as far as schools that I'm looking at," he said.
"Coach (Duane) Akina (defensive backs) from Texas has been recruiting me real hard lately and he's coached some great DBs in his career. I really like the fans there. They're just so crazy and everybody there seems to really love their football.
"You see movies like Friday Night Lights, and it really stresses the importance that football has in those communities. And coach Mack Brown is also doing a great job recruiting me. I've also been told by numerous people around me that the city of Austin is a great place to be and I'd be missing out if I didn't at least give them a look," he said.
