More June Visitors/Campers: The Latest

An ever-growing number of top recruits are coming to Ann Arbor this month, whether to camp or visit. And one or more may just commit to the Wolverines soon.

Note: the rankings are Jim S' Updated June position rankings.

Visited this week: Jim S' 8 DB, Darrin Walls DB 6'1 185 (4.6 at the PSU Nike Camp) from Pittsburgh Woodland Hills (alma mater of Steve Breaston and Ryan Mundy). Notre Dame is providing U-M with fierce competition. It is of interest to note that his coach is letting him attend NO camps except 7-on-7 camps which his whole team is attending, including at Notre Dame.

Other top planned June visitors:

June 10 visit postponed: 2 Mitch Mustain QB 6'3 200 4.72 Springdale Arkansas. The good news: Mustain visited Texas June 5-6 and didn't commit.

June 11 (give or take a day): 6 Nate Byhem TE/DL 6'4 220 4.65 Murrysville Franklin Regional Pennsylvania. Michigan's short list of TE recruits has grown recently.

*NOTE* June 15-16: 11 Steve Brown DB 6'1 200 4.39 Columbus East Indiana. Will he commit during his visit? Keep an eye on this one.

June 17-18: 1 Sam Young OL 6'7 295 5.00 Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas. Young would be U-M's top OL 'get' in 3-4 years.

June 26-27: 2 Taylor Mays DB 6'3 210 4.50 Seattle O'Dea Washington. And amazingly athletic big DB ... U-M is the one school that may be able to wrestle him away from USC.

Also visiting in June: 4 Dorin Dickerson WR/LB/RB 6'1 195 4.50 Imperial West Allegheny Pennsylvania.

Additional Probable Summer Visits:

1 Percy Harvin WR/DB 5'11 182 4.34 Virginia Beach Landstown Virginia. Michigan has landed in his final five ... his sister attends Eastern Michigan University.

8 Jared Odrick OL/DL 6'6 295 4.90 Lebanon Pennsylvania.

Probable Visitor or Camper: 41 Jim Barrie OL 6'5 295 5.10 Tampa Berkeley Prep Florida. The underrated Barrie reports a Michigan offer. His older sister attended U-M.

18 Brandon Minor RB 6'2 208 4.60 Richmond Varina Virginia.
