St. Paul (Minn.) cornerback Kimuel Royston (5-10, 175, 4.5) received a recent offer from Iowa State--bringing his total to three offers. Minnesota and Wisconsin have also offered.

"The schools that I like right now are Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa State and Michigan (no offer). Everybody out of that list is even for me right now," said Royston, from Cretin-Derham Hall High School.

"I really like the coaching staff a lot at Minnesota--I've established a good relationship with all of them so far. And I like how they're a team on the rise.

"The staff at Iowa State is also really good. They've expressed a lot of interest in getting me out there for and unofficial visit," he said.

"My coach has spoken with coach (Lloyd) Carr from Michigan. He's told my coach that they're real interested in me and would like to see how I do at their camp or during my senior season before they offer.

"I'll try to go to Michigan's camp if my ankle feels better in the next couple of weeks. I sprained my left ankle during our spring practice about two weeks ago. I really like how Michigan has got the biggest stadium in the nation and they're good at bringing up their cornerbacks and getting them to the next level," said Royston.

"I'm open to going to Michigan's camp and any other's who want to have me. I'll probably be able to get out and see Nebraska, Wisconsin, Michigan State, and maybe Miami this summer for unofficial visits. My dad works for Northwest Airlines, so it's really no problem to travel."

Royston reports a 2.8 GPA/June 11 first-time ACT.
