Top QB Heads 8 Additional Campers/Summer Visitors

Top quarterback Pat Devlin is coming to the Michigan Camp next week (June 19-23), making this camp's quarterback group top notch. Also added: three more top campers. In addition, two top recruits visited yesterday (Wednesday) for Michigan's Junior Day, and two more top kids set firm July visit dates for U-M's July Recruiting Day. This list will continue to be refined as the week progresses, but here is GBW's Thursday "Long List" of campers, as well as all other known summer visitors.

June Visitors

June 5 visit: Jim S' 8 DB, Darrin Walls DB 6'1 185 (4.6 at the PSU Nike Camp) from Pittsburgh Woodland Hills (alma mater of Steve Breaston and Ryan Mundy). Notre Dame is providing U-M with fierce competition. It is of interest to note that his coach is letting him attend NO camps except 7-on-7 camps which his whole team is attending, including an Adidas 7-on-7 camp at Notre Dame this past week.

June 10 visit postponed: 2 Mitch Mustain QB 6'3 200 4.72 Springdale Arkansas. The good news: Mustain visited Texas June 5-6 and didn't commit.

In attendance at Wed., June 15's Junior Day: *NEW* -- 6 Nate Byham TE/DL 6'4 220 4.65 Murrysville Franklin Regional Pennsylvania. Michigan's short list of TE recruits has grown recently.
*NEW* -- 11 Steve Brown DB 6'1 200 4.39 Columbus East Indiana. He did not commit at the visit, but U-M leads.

June 17-18: 1 Sam Young OL 6'7 295 5.00 Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas. Young would be U-M's top OL 'get' in 3-4 years.

Also visiting in June: 4 Dorin Dickerson WR/LB/RB 6'1 195 4.50 Imperial West Allegheny Pennsylvania.

Visitor or Camper: 41 Jim Barrie OL 6'5 295 5.10 Tampa Berkeley Prep Florida. The underrated Barrie reports a Michigan offer. His older sister attended U-M.
