Will Ga. QB David Cone be Commit No. 4?

In what may be a double-shot of Michigan camp offers and commitments, quarterback David Cone of Statesboro, Ga., High School told GoBlueWolverine.com on Tuesday that he is seriously considering accepting the recent scholarship offer from Michigan.

Will quarterback David Cone of Statesboro, Ga., High School be the second Michigan camper this week to receive an offer and commit? "I need to talk it over with my family and my coach, but it looks like I'll be calling Coach Loeffler tomorrow to commit," Cone said. "I really like the academic and athletic reputation of Michigan, it's a great school."

The 6-foot-6, 205-pound Cone would be the second commitment to come out of the Michigan camp. While linebacker Quintin Patilla has been a lifelong Wolverine fan, Cone's interest in the Maize and Blue is recent. "They really only started recruiting me about a week before camp," Cone said. "I was up there for two days and really got to like the coaching staff and the school itself. I was offered at the camp." Cone also reports offers from Mississippi State, Ball State, and Eastern Kentucky.
