How Good Can The '06 U-M FB Recruiting Class Be?

The top Michigan recruits according to Scout.com's latest rankings. Given that this will be another smallish class (16-18 in number), how highly ranked can it be? You may be amazed -- the Wolverines have more top 50 recruits than any year in recent memory! Fully half of Scout.com's Top 10 list Michigan, as do half of the Top 20 and almost half of the Top 50 -- and U-M's first two verbal commitments are both in the Top 30.

Michigan's Top 50 Recruits (click HERE for Scout.com's complete rankings lists):

(1) Myron Rolle S/CB 6'2 210 4.53 Princeton The Hun School New Jersey. He will make a late summer decision and enter college in January. His finalists: U-M, Oklahoma, the three Florida schools and PSU.

(4) Steve Schilling OL 6'4 290 Bellevue Washington. Michigan and Washington will make his final 5 for sure. He visited Michigan May 22-23.

(7) Percy Harvin WR/DB 5'11 182 4.34 Virginia Beach Landstown Virginia. Harvin has recently named a final five, and the Wolverines are in it, along with Florida State, Miami, Florida, and Southern Cal. U-M's 'hook': Harvin's sister attends Eastern Michigan University.
