As usual, player-injury facts were made public during the Big Ten Kickoff. Most of this has already been presented before, but the Kickoff, as a press-event, provides an opportunity for official confirmation.
Lawrence Reid and Roger Allison -- both are "medicals" meaning their careers are over, due to neck injuries.
Steve Breaston has had some hamstring problems over the summer but is okay.
Leo Henige had yet another knee 'scope' (this time to first knee that had been previously injured) but is expected to be ready by start of season.
Jake Long: his shoulder is fine.
Jeremy Van Alstyne: his foot is fine as well.
Also, as has previously been confirmed, signee Marques Slocum was confirmed to be attending prep school (Milford Academy); all other frosh have qualified, etc.
