Perez Changes Michigan Visit Date

Defensive back Antwine Perez of Woodrow Wilson High School in Camden, N.J., recently told he had set visits to his three finalists. However, NCAA rules do not allow official visits to begin until the student/athlete begins his senior year. As such the No. 3 safety in the country had to move his Michigan visit up a week.

"I'm going to visit Michigan on Sept. 10 for the Notre Dame game," Antwine Perez of Woodrow Wilson High School said. "I had to change it because I won't be in school the week before, so I couldn't take an official visit because of the rules. But I'm excited about getting to see Michigan and Notre Dame play."

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Perez still list the Wolverines, along with USC and LSU as his three finalists and said he will decide after he finishes his official visits to each school. He visits USC on Sept. 17, and then heads to LSU the following week.

Perez said he recently spoke with Michigan defensive backs coach Ron English. "We talked about where I fit in with Michigan, and how much they need me," he said. "That's pretty much what the other schools are saying too."

Wilson opens the season on Sept. 9 at Camden Catholic.
