Walls Sets Another Visit: Bunch of Great Guys

Pa. cornerback Darrin Walls sets his second official visit, and affirms his top three schools.

Pittsburgh (Pa.) cornerback Darrin Walls (6-1, 180, 4.4) has set up an official visit with Pittsburgh for September 2. "They're the team that has been recruiting me the hardest lately," said Walls, from Woodland Hills Senior High School.

"I've been getting a lot of letters from them and whenever I call them I always talk with all of their coaches. They're all a bunch of great guys.

"Other than that, I haven't really had the chance to talk with a lot of other coaches from the programs I like. I've been focused on the season ahead and I'm just waiting for my official visits to come around to really start talking with coaches again," he said.

"I've also got that visit set up with Florida on September 17. I'm going to set up an official visit with Notre Dame in their game against USC (10/15). And I want to get out to Michigan for an official, but I'm still thinking about the date. I'm going to try for one in their game versus Notre Dame (9/10), but I'm not sure yet.

"I don't know if I'm going to get out to USC for an official visit. I'm still thinking about it. I just don't want to waste the money on a trip to a school that I'm not really that interested in, but we'll see.

"I don't have a leader, but my top three schools are still Michigan, Notre Dame and Florida (9/17 official visit)," he said.

Woodland Hills kicks off their season opener against Shaler Area High School this Friday (8/26).
