The "Most Likely to be Next" List:
-- FB/LB Obi Ezeh (6-1, 220, 4.6) from Grand Rapids, Mich., Catholic Central. The 3-time U-M camper makes his U-M official visit Dec. 2. He has a U-M offer, and has grown up a U-M fan. He made an unofficial visit for the PSU game, and may commit in November. He has scheduled official visits to WMU (Dec. 2 - replaced by U-M) and U-M (Dec. 9, moved to Dec. 2). He also has offers from EMU and Indiana.
-- Dexter Larimore DT 6'2 270 4.9 Merriville Indiana. After watching his early Sept. film, U-M has offered him, as has OSU. He made an unofficial U-M visit for the Minnesota game. He will make his U-M official visit Nov. 12 for the Indiana game, and to Indiana Nov. 5 and OSU Dec. 3; these are his final three. He made wrestling official visits to MSU and Iowa State. He also has football offers from Purdue and Illinois. He grew up a U-M fan and camped at U-M this past summer as well as attending the late July Junior Day and the ND game. As wrestler, he made the state finals in the heavyweight division as a sophmore. He is underrated as the Scout.com #70 Midwest prospect. According to USA Wrestling, Dexter Larimore is the #1 prep heavyweight wrestler in the nation.
-- Greg Banks DE 6'2 260 5.2 Denver Montebello. After watching his early Sept. film, U-M (Nov. 19 official visit for OSU Game) offered him and is an strong position. He also will visit UCLA, Cal, Notre Dame, and Washington (Dec. 2). He also had an Oklahoma offer. As a junior, he had 52 tackles, three sacks, three passes broken up, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and one interception. He is Scout.com's #14 Midlands prospect. He will graduate in December and enroll in college in January.
-- *NEW* Perry Dorrestein OT 6'7 280 5.30 (Scout Combine stats) Plainfield Central Illinois. The Scout.com's #100 Midwest prospect was an unofficial visitor to the PSU game where he was offered a scholarship. His official visits: Nebraska (Oct. 28 visit completed), U-M (probably Dec. 2), and possibly Illinois and Northwestern. He will make his decision before Christmas. He was an '05 U-M Camper.
-- *NEW* Greg Mathews WR 6'4 185 Orlando Edgewater Florida. A four-day U-M Camper, the question for Mathews is how long will he wait for his favorite, Miami, to offer … the season is almost over and they still have not. Otherwise Michigan (Oct. 19 official visit, for OSU game) has a great shot. Could this be a case where Miami's needs don't include a big, strong possession WR whereas U-M would be glad to have a Florida version of a Jason Avant-type guy (only taller)? Mathews also likes FSU, and he also lists OSU (he has family in Columbus and is a relative of the Ginns), Alabama, NC State.
