Greg Mathews Commits At Michigan Visit spoke earlier today with the father of Orlando, Fla., wide receiver Greg Mathews, who is on his official visit to Michigan. As of this morning Mr. Mathews said his son had not committed to Michigan. GBW spoke with Greg's mom Sunday afternoon, and she updated the situation.

Wide receiver Greg Mathews of Edgewater High School in Orlando, Fla., is now in Ann Arbor on the first of his five official visits. spoke earlier today with his father, who said he had not heard word of his son committing to the Wolverines during the visit. However, we caught up with Greg's mom, who accompanied him on the visit, and she updated the situation. "Yes, he really loved it up there and told them (Michigan coaches) that was where he wanted to go," Lesia Mathews said. "He committed to Michigan, it was his decision and he was very impressed with the school and the commitment the coaches made to him."

Mrs. Mathews was on her way to Columbus, Ohio to visit her mother (who is a retired OSU professor), and said Greg was still in Ann Arbor and would be returning home late this evening. "The game was a lot of fun," she said. "Of course I was happy that Ohio State won, and I'm happy that Greg found a place where he is comfortable. He is familair with the other schools but I still think he will take an official visit or two. I know he will still visit Florida State because that one was already set up."
