Will WR Percy Harvin Reschedule U-M Visit?

Scout.com's #7 prospect was scheduled to be a Michigan official visitor this past weekend, but he suffered a leg injury in his game Friday night that put him on crutches. GoBlueWolverine spoke to the Virginia wide receiver Monday.

Percy Harvin Profile

"Yeah, I hurt my hip Friday night -- it was on a long run."

The newspaper said you had to be taken off the field in a cart?

"Nah, I walked off the field. I am on crutches though, and traveling would've been tough. We won the game, and so I was told I need to rest my hip because I plan to play next week."

Do you plan to reschedule the visit?

"Probably. I don't know for sure yet but I want to. I was going to see my sister (on an athletic scholarship to EMU) as part of the visit too."

Harvin has already been to Florida and USC, which are considered his co-leaders, and he has a visit scheduled to Miami on Dec. 17. He wants to make a Christmastime decision, so if he reschedules it'll have to be for a December 2nd or 9th visit.

Finally, we asked him about a report that U-M Coach Erik Campbell was going to visit him at his school Monday.

"Not, there weren't any Michigan coaches at my school today."
