Rick Stanzi Profile

Rick Stanzi continues to have his stock rise around the Midwest. After first receiving an offer from the Iowa Hawkeyes, Stanzi may be on his way to yet another premier Big Ten offer.

Michigan Quarterback Coach (Scot) Loeffler stopped by Mentor Lake Catholic High School yesterday to evaluate Stanzi, and informed head coach Mike Bell and Stanzi that the Wolverines were very interested. Expect Michigan to make a decision on whether or not to offer in the near future.

The Stanzi family hosted Miami (Ohio) on an in-home visit last evening, and this coming evening, Iowa Offensive Coordinator Ken O'Keefe will be stopping by for an in-home visit.

GoBlueWolverine note: for his senior season, Stanzi threw for nearly 2500 yards, 21 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. He has an Iowa official visit set for Dec. 9. GBW is not adding him to our Best Guess list yet.
