After place kicker Bryan Wright of Salem, Ohio High School committed to Michigan, there was some speculation that on offer from Ohio State would sway the talented special teams player away from the Wolverines.
In an e-mail to GoBlueWolverine.com, his father put those concerns to rest. "OSU has been in contact with (Bryan) but he is no longer interested," Bob Wright said. "Some other school have also called and said to let them know if he changes his mind, But it ain't happening. GO BLUE!!!"
The senior Wright also said his son has his official visit to Michigan set. "Bryan's visit is next weekend Dec. 9th-10th-11th," he said.
Wright kicked the second-longest field goal in Ohio High School history this season, a 57-yard boot against Poland. He was recently names to the First Team Division III All-State team.
