GoBlueWolverine talked Sunday afternoon to Michigan Commitment #2, Justin Boren OL 6'3 319 5.20 Pickerington North Ohio, Scout.com's #28 prospect. Here are his observations about the visit weekend:
"There weren't any commitments during the visit."
Regarding his visit:
"I hung around with the freshmen linemen -- Cory Zirbel, Moose (David Moosman), Mark Ortmann, McAvoy (Tim McAvoy), and we had (visitor-recruits) Perry Dorrestein and Steve Schilling with us as well."
His comments on the recruits he hung around with:
"I think Perry really likes Michigan, but he said he has one more visit left next weekend (to Northwestern).""
"Steve Schilling -- he just said this was his first visit, and that he had three more to go (to Cal and USC the next two weekends, and to Washington in January).""
"Schilling is about the same height as me (Boren is a shade under 6-3) and I outweight him some."
"Perry is a huge guy, 6-6 or 6-7 and BIG."
Regarding the other recruits this weekend:
"I also saw Greg Banks during the visit, and my parents talked to him. He's the same height as me, but more the size of a defensive end."
"I also saw Daron Rose this morning (Sunday), but didn't really spend time with him."
