Hold On -- William Griffin Resets U-M Visit

Things are moving fast for running back William Griffin of Patterson, La., High School. When GoBlueWolverine.com spoke with him earlier on Tuesday, he talked about his upcoming weekend visit to Ann Arbor. A couple hours later he called GBW back to report his Michigan visit date has been moved.

Running back William Griffin of Patterson, La., High School told GoBlueWolverine.com that he would visit Michigan on this coming January 13 weekend. He confirmed that date earlier today. However, he called GBW Tuesday afternoon to report the visit date has been changed. "I talked to Coach Jackson (U-M assistant coach Fred Jackson) and I'm going to visit Michigan on January 27th," Griffin said. "They want to have me visit there last so I can decide then if I want to go to Michigan or not."

Griffin has stated that a Michigan offer during his visit would result in his commitment to the Wolverines.

The 5-foot-11, 210-pound Griffin took his first official visit to Louisiana Tech this past weekend, where he received an offer. The visit, along with the offer, moved the Bulldogs up on his list of favorites, according to Griffin.

He also said he would visit Nebraska, though no date have been set. One other school on his list, Arkansas, may not get a visit. "I can't go anywhere this weekend," Griffin said. "So the visit to Nebraska will have to be on Jan. 20. Arkansas is way down the list and I probably won't even visit them."

Griffin said U-M coach Jackson would be at Patterson High School next week.
