When GoBlueWolverine.com spoke recently with running back Brandon Minor of Varina High School in Richmond, Va., he said he would take a final official visit to Virginia Tech, then decide from amongst the Hokies, along with Michigan, Miami, and Tennessee. However, that has all changed. "I've canceled my visit to Virginia Tech and dropped Miami," Minor said on Friday. "I'll choose between Michigan and Tennessee, and make my announcement at a press conference at my school next Friday."
The 6-foot-0, 210-pound Minor said he decided he'd seen enough, and was ready to make his decision. "Michigan and Tennessee are so similar, the biggest difference between them is really just the climate," he said. "That will be a big factor in which one I choose."
When GBW spoke earlier with Minor he said that Michigan Head Coach Lloyd Carr, and Tennessee Head Coach Phil Fulmer had visited. Friday he said he doesn't expect any other visitors before his announcement.
