Eugene Likely Solid With Switch

The father of Destrehan, Louisiana cornerback Jai Eugene informed GoBlueWolverine late last evening that his son will, in fact, most likely be an LSU Tiger next year.

Shortly after the news of Jai Eugene's de-commitment from Michigan broke early last evening, his father spoke with GoBlueWolverine and indicated that a decision between the Wolverines and Tigers was not yet final. After having a chance to chat with his son late last night, he informed GoBlueWolverine at midnight that the decision looked pretty solid.

"It looks like he is going to stick with LSU," Eugene's dad, Stephen Lewis said. "I can't say that it isn't somewhat disappointing. I enjoyed getting a chance to get to know the Michigan family. They treated us extremely well. Michigan was absolutely a class act. But it Jai's decision and it looks like he is going to stay with LSU ... and so I'll support that."
