Top Jr. Day Target: Ind. Safety Jerimy Finch

Defensive back Jerimy Finch of Warren Central High School in Indianapolis is the former teammate of current Michigan linebacker Chris Graham. The Michigan Junior Day attendee told that he is getting a lot of attention from the Wolverines, and that he already has two offers in hand.

Warren Central High School in Indianapolis is certainly a familiar name to Michigan fans as the school that produced current U-M linebacker Chris Graham. It is also the home of four-star defensive back Jerimy Finch, who reports offers from Louisville and Kentucky. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Finch attended Michigan's Junior Day, and impressed the Wolverine staff. "They told me I am the No. 1 safety they are looking at," Finch said. "They said they were real happy I came up for Junior Day and want me to come up for a spring practice or two."

Finch said that no offer from the Wolverines has come yet. A varsity starter since his freshman year, Finch said he played one year with Graham, and speaks to him on occasion. "I talk to him when he answers his phone," Finch said. "I liked Michigan before he went there, but he tells me how much he likes it there. I really felt good about it when I was up there, the academics and the atmosphere, mainly."

He said he knew that Ron English had left Michigan to join the staff of the NFL Chicago Bears, but that it didn't really affect his outlook on U-M. "I really didn't get to know him all that well yet, so it's no big deal to me," he said.

Growing up a fan of Florida, Finch said he has received a couple letters from the Gators, but not much else. He said no school leads, and that he plans to take all of his official visits before making a decision, "Sometime after football season."

He attended the Nike Camp in Ann Arbor last spring, and said he is planning on doing the same at the Ohio State Nike Camp this year. And, in the summer, "I'll probably attend the Michigan camp," he added.
