Six-foot-seven Texarkana, Texas QB Ryan Mallett tells GoBlueWolverine:
"I'm going to be in Austin next weekend. My dad and I are driving down for the University of Texas Junior Day on the 25th."
And on the basketball front, high school basketball's tallest point guard said:
"We have made the playoffs!"
Mallett, a 2005 Michigan camper who plans to come back in 2006, lists eight schools: Michigan, Texas, Arkansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Baylor, Miami and Texas A&M ... Michigan and Texas have joined Nebraska and Baylor in sending him written scholarship offers.
