Taurian Washington Profile
Taurian Washington, a 6-foot, 170-pound (GBW Note: he's grown, both in height and weight -- see below), wide receiver, from St. Mary's High in Orchard Lake, Mich., is one of the top prospects in the Midwest. St. Mary's coach, George Porritt, says a few schools have already offered a scholarship
"I know Michigan and Michigan State have both offered Taurian a scholarship." Coach Porritt said.
"There are a few more schools in the Big Ten that I think have offered as well but I'm not sure.
"Taurian is a difference maker that can stretch a defense and he's not afraid to go over the middle. Taurian has a very good comination of speed and strength. He's also very athletic and plays basketball."
Washington scored 12 touchdowns as a junior. We'll have comments from Taurian in the near future.
GoBlueWolverine note: Washington has grown to 6-foot-2-plus, and 200-plus pounds. For GoBlueWolverine's coverage of Washington last October, including a scouting report and interview, and *action photo*, click HERE.
