Does Michigan have Commitment No. 2?

While Michigan was busy with staff maneuverings a week ago, did a Midwest safety slip in a commitment to the Wolverines?

An attendee at the January 28th Michigan Junior Day was safety Artis Chambers (6-2, 185, 4.45) from Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Snyder.

GoBlueWolverine has confirmed that Chambers was offered a scholarship at the Junior Day.

However, the big surprise is that about a week ago, according to the Chambers household, Artis called and committed to the Wolverines.

This all happened while U-M was without a recruiting coordinator or defensive backs coach, or even a defacto defensive coordinator. So stay tuned while GBW confirms the status of the situation for sure.

As a junior, Chambers recorded 50 tackles and four interceptions.
