Eleven Offers for N.C. WR Greg Little

Wide receiver Greg Little of Hillside High School in Durham, N.C., reports 11 offers and is planning on taking his time going through the process. He told GoBlueWolverine.com on Wednesday that he plans on making a trek to Michigan, and will decide after the season - unless he can go as a package deal with some fellow teammates.

Duke University was the first to offer wide receiver Greg Little of Hillside High School in Durham, N.C. Now, the five-star talent reports 11 offers including some big name programs. "Duke offered me last summer," he said. "Now Wake Forest, Clemson, Virginia, Tennessee, Florida, Ole Miss, North Carolina State, Nebraska, South Carolina, and North Carolina have offered." He added schools are recruiting him mainly as an athlete, but that he prefers the wide receiver and running back positions. As a junior Little rushed 160 times for 1,166 yards and 26 touchdowns. At receiver, he caught 23 passes for 375 yards and four touchdowns.

Little said he grew up a fan of the Miami Hurricanes, but that he has no favorites at this time. The five-star standout was a participant at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl Junior Combine, and said he would like to make his decision on national television during the Game in January. However, that could change. "I have some teammates that I've been playing with since the eighth-grade," he said. "We all want to go to school together so if we all get offers from some of the same schools, we'll go to school together. If that happens I'll announce earlier."

Quinn Barhamm, Tyree Bullock, Mike Johnson, and Jonathan Smith are Little's friends, and he reports that offers for them are appearing as well. "I know Johnson and Bullock have offers from Duke, and Quinn has offers from NCST and UNC," Little said. "Jonathan Smith has an offer from Nebraska."

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Little is also getting attention from some other big-name schools, including Michigan. "They said they want to look at some more of my tape before making an offer," he said. "I plan on going to their camp this summer." Little said he also plans on camping at Texas, Notre Dame, and Penn State. He added he would attend Nike combines at Clemson and Texas, and the Scout.com combine at Duke.

Little also plays basketball and participates in track and field at Hillside, something he said he would like to pursue in college. "Duke and Virginia have told me they're open to letting me play basketball and run track," he said. "I play a 3-4 combo in basketball, and do the 100-meters, high-jump, and long-jump in track."

Games are an important aspect of Little's life, and he plans on majoring in computer science once he gets to college. "I'd like to create my own video game," he said. "It would definitely be something to do with sports."
