Josh Oglesby Profile
One of the nation's premier offensive tackle prospects, Josh Oglesby, planned to use his school's spring break to tour around the midwest to visit some of the top schools on his list.
That was until some bad news hit the Oglesby family which has re-shifted Josh's focus.
"My grandmother recently found out she has cancer, and because of that I will be playing by ear whether I'm able to make these visits," Oglesby stated.
St. Francis's spring break beings on April 14th. Oglesby planned to begin his tour with a visit to Michigan, which would be followed up by trips to Ohio State, Notre Dame, Iowa, and then he would conclude the tour by visiting Madison.
While in Iowa City, Oglesby hoped to be able to attend the Scout.com All-American Combine on April 22nd.
"Recruiting is a huge priority for myself, but family is even more important, and I had to re-prioritize with what my grandmother learned. If she is in bad health, I will not even make an exception to visit Madison. I'm not the kind of guy to back off my word to visit other schools to make an exception for one school," Oglesby stated.
Certainly, Scout.com's prayers go out to Josh and his family in wishing his grandmother a healthy recovery.
