Troy Woolfolk Profile
Top notch cornerbacks can be tough to come by. This year in the state of Texas the position is 'down' from an overall perspective, so players like Troy Woolfolk of Dulles High in Fort Bend (Houston area) create a lot of attention.
Woolfolk was named all-district as a junior. He is also the son of Butch Woolfolk, former Houston Oilers -- and University of Michigan -- running back.
"I don't have any offers right now, but I feel like Texas and Michigan could be close," Woolfolk said. "Both of those schools have been talking to my coach a lot and I get mail from them everyday."
The 5-foot-10, 170-pound Woolfolk has already checked out one school this spring and plans to do more this summer.
"I went and watched a Michigan practice, but that is the only school that I have seen so far," Woolfolk said. "This summer I am going to go to camps at TCU, Texas, Texas A&M and Michigan."
"Right now Notre Dame, Texas, Michigan and UCLA are my favorites," Woolfolk. "To be honest though I am listening to everyone that is recruiting me right now."
