Michigan to take Another Run at Reynolds

Scottie Reynolds gave official word on his interest in Michigan in an interview yesterday with GoBlueWolverine. Tday, Scout.com's dave Telep reports that the Wolverines will try to make a move.

Scottie Reynolds, a 6-foot combo guard out of Herndon (Va.) High, asked for and was granted his release from Oklahoma.

Reynolds, a 2006 McDonald's All-American, has interest from a number of programs. Michigan, which had been a player in his recruitment the first time around, is making a charge. Reynolds told Scout.com that Tommy Amaker will meet with him on April 25.

Last weekend at the Kingwood Classic, rumors swirled of a package placing Darrell Arthur and Reynolds at LSU. Reynolds has looked into the situation and is close to Arthur but as of Tuesday the situation has not gone much further. Last week, OU's Jeff Capel made a strong pitch to Reynolds as well. Georgetown is another school expected to receive face time with Reynolds.
