Webb Becomes UM Commit #5!

GoBlueWolverine just learned that Pontiac Northern's Martell Webb ended all the speculation today and committed to the Michigan Wolverines.

"I've had in my mind that I was going to do it," Webb told GoBlueWolverine moments ago. "I just got the Okay from my parents so I went ahead and committed when I talked to coach Carr today."

Webb's commitment brings Michigan's 2007 tally to five, three of which are in-staters. The 6-4, 210-pounder will give both WR and TE a try in Ann Arbor. For GoBlueWolverine's previous stories on Webb, click the following links:

For the time being Webb is focused on AAU ball and latching on with another team. "I think I'm going to join the Family," he said. "I'm going to talk to Speedy (better known as Durand Speedy Walker...coach of The Family) today."
