Mike Jones, a 6-foot-5, 305-pound, offensive lineman from Oak Lawn (Ill.) Richards is among the nations top offensive line prospects in the nation. Jones will be a four-year varsity starter for the Bulldogs.
"Penn State, Northwestern, Illinois, Michigan, Iowa, Tennessee, Maryland, Nebraska, Michigan State, Oklahoma State and Indiana." Jones said. "I was told be Notre Dame that I need to be accepted to school before they offer me a scholarship.
"I've been talking with Miami (Fla.) offensive line coach Art Kehoe about an official visit. I'm going to take all my visits and probably make a decision in January.
"Michigan and Tennessee have a slight lead over Nebraska, Colorado, Miami, Oklahoma, Iowa, Illinois and Notre Dame right now."
All favorites have offered Jones except Miami, Oklahoma and Notre Dame. Mike said that his favorites besides Michigan and Tennessee are in no particular order.
Jim Jones, the older brother of Mike Jones has signed as an offensive lineman and will be in training camp with the Baltimore Ravens.
