New Offensive Tackles Added to Best Guess
Offensive Tackles -- the Offered, and Non-Offered.
N.Y. OT John Elliott (6-4, 285) from East Meadow, N.Y. He visited U-M for a spring practice. He made an unofficial visit to U-M last summer for the late July Junior Day. *He reportedly has a U-M offer*, and also has offers from Wisconsin, Michigan State, Ohio State, Iowa, Illinois, Tennessee, Arkansas, USC, Florida State, Notre Dame, Stanford, Louisville, Clemson, Boston College and Nebraska. He may attend the 2006 U-M Camp. He has a 3.5 GPA. He is considered a potential Top 100 Junior.
Ark. OT Lee Ziemba from Rogers. He visited U-M and Noter Dame the April 23rd weekend. Both have offered him, as well as USC< Arkansas, Alabama, Auburn, Miss State, Ok State, Texas Tech.
*NEW* Socal OT Mitchell Schwartz (6-6, 303, 5.28) from Pacific Palisades. He attended the SoCal Scout and the Stanford Nike Camps, and received his first offer - from Michigan.
Ariz. OT Javario Burkes (6-6, 320) from Phoenix Moon Valley. He has a *U-M offer*, as well as offers from 22-23 others. His top schools: Miami, Michigan, Georgia, Tennessee, and USC (the fav?).
*New* Col. OT Ryan Miller (6-8, 280) from Littleton Columbine. He reportedly has a *U-M offer* now ... he has a ton of offers and his current top four are Colorado, USC, Miami and Notre Dame.
*New* Okla. OT Matt Romine (6-7, 280) from Tulsa Union. He reportedly has a *U-M offer* now ... his other offers: Tennessee, Louisiana State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Nebraska, Tulsa, Notre Dame, Arkansas, Houston, Kansas, Kansas State, Iowa State and Alabama.
Pa. OT Dan Matha (6-7, 310) from Erie McDowell. He has offers from West Virginia, Pitt and Maryland. After a good PSU Nike performance, we'll see if U-M offers him ... not yet so far ...
Mich. OT Darrell Davis-Budanauro (6-5, 360) from East Grand Rapids, Mich. He has moved to Michigan from Carrolton, Texas. He has a MSU offer. He attended the U-M Junior Day, and the U-M 'spring game'.
Ohio OT Marcus O'Hara (6-7, 305) from Hubbard, Ohio. He attended the '05 PSU game.
Mich. OT Chad Pepper (6-7, 370) from Grand Rapids Union. The huge young man attended the U-M 'spring game' and plans to camp at U-M as well.
Offensive Guards -- perhaps less of a need this year.
Pa. OG Stefen Wisniewski (6-3, 275) from Pittsburgh Central Catholic. His top four: PSU (leader), U-M, BC and Stanford. He was a U-M Junior day attendee. *He reportedly has a U-M offer*, plus offers from Pitt, Penn State (his dad is a former D-lineman), Georgia Tech, Virginia, Stanford, Boston College, North Carolina, and quite a few others. As a junior, on the defensive line, he made 64 tackles and six sacks. He has a 1270 SAT. He is a possible Top 100 junior.
Pa. OL Josh Marks (6-5, 300, 400-lb. bench press) from Southern Columbia. he and teammate RB Henry Hynoski attended the Northern Illinois game last fall. Some reports say he will commit to PSU soon. His reported offers: Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers and West Virginia.
Ohio OL Mark Weterer (6-4, 300) from Cincinnati Anderson. He attended three U-M games this past fall. He was a US Army Combine attendee and a U-M Junior day attendee as well.
Pa. OL Evan Blankenship (6-3, 310) from Monaca (Pa.) Center Area.
Penn. OL Gino Gradkowski (6-4, 275) from Pittsburgh Seton-LaSalle. He attended a U-M spring practice. He has offers from Pitt and West Virginia.
