Today, Tuesday, may well be the top day of the Michigan Technique Camp. Here are known top campers coming in today and tomorrow, and also a summary of the top campers for the past two days, Sunday and Monday. Who is coming in with U-M offers, and who is in the running for camp offers?

SUNDAY/MONDAY SUMMARY:

HEADLINERS SO FAR

-- QB Ryan Mallett from Texarkana, Texas. Bigger (6-7, 260) and better than ever. Also, he is going to summer school with definitel plans to enroll at U-M in January. He is already at home with the players on the team.

-- WR Toney Clemons from New Kensington, Pa. Toney attended as a visitor on Monday. He has gotten taller (pushing 6-3 now) and bigger/stronger. He looked very comfortable with cousin Steve Breaston and many of the team players. He carries his spikes around with him all day, and during dinner he and Mallett did manage to toss a few on their own outside the camp confines.

-- DB Eugene Clifford form Cincinnati Colerain. Eugene is still 6-2, b ut getting bigger/stronger. He's definitely a safety now, and is a headhunter who makes play after play after play.

-- OL Dave Molk from Lemont Township, Illinois. The 6-1, 270-pounder is quick, fast and aggressive -- and was given what seems to be U-M's 'first camp offer' (to a rising senior) ... he did not have an offer previously.

-- DE/DT Ryan VanBergen. The U-M commitment is 6-4+ and 260+ pounds, and is fast, quick, strong and smart.

-- CB Troy Wolfolk from Houston, Texas. The son of Butch Wolfolk does not have a U-M offer yet (despite what has been written), but that might well happen when he leaves camp. The 5-11, 175-pounder is fast (4.50 electronic 40 on U-M's slow Oosterbaan track) and has very quick feet. He is also a 10.5 100m guy.

OTHER NOTABLE CAMPERS SO FAR: (who may get U-M offers down the road)

-- QB Steven Threet from Adrian, Mich. Threet actually will not get a U-M offer with Mallett in the fold, but he is getting bigger and stronger (6-5, 220 now) and is excellent. In any normal year ...

-- Ohio running back Daniel Herron from Warren Harding. The 5-10, 190-pound Herron was impressive on Monday.

-- New Jersey FB Devon Ramsey (6-3, 247) from Lawrenceville Prep is impressive, but it seems unlikely that U-M will offer a second fullback in this class (Vince Helmuth being the first).

-- Wide receiver James Rogers (6-3, 180) from Madison Heights, Mich., Lampheer.

-- Muncie, Indiana tight end Ryan Kerrigan (6-4, 250).

-- Illinois DE Nickcaro Golding. Thin-ish, but tall and fast. A future OLB. Keep this name in the back of your mind.

-- Pa. Defensive lineman Zane Parr (6-4, 280).

-- Linebacker Brian Smith (6-3, 220) from Overland Park, Kansas, St. Thomas Aquinas.

-- Linebacker Neil Doogan (96-3, 220) from Philadelphia St. Joseph (from Victor Hobson's alma mater).

OTHER SENIOR CAMPERS OF NOTE SO FAR:

-- Pa. Offensive lineman Evan Blankenship.

-- Mass. OL Chris Shannon from Andover Phillips Academy.

-- LM Ryan Wheat from Flint Carmen-Ainesworth.

-- Illinois defensive back Michal Bolden (6-0, 175), son of former Wolverine DB James Bolden.

-- Montreal CN safety Eli Biakabutka (6-2, 200). He is the younger brother of Touchdown Tim. He is a rising 12th grader, meaning he is a "Canadian Junior."

NOTABLE UNDERCLASSMEN ATTENDEES SO FAR:

--Remember this name: sophomore running back Larry Capers (6-2, 190) from Battle Creek Central.

-- Sophomore fullback/linebacker Zach Boren (6-1, 260) from Pickerington, Ohio, brother of incoming frosh Justin Boren.

-- Wide receiver Darnell Golden from Ann Arbor Huron (6-2, 175).

-- Texan OT J.B. Shugarts from Klein (Mark Ortmann's alma mater). the 6-7, 300-pounder has had a U-M offer for a year now.

-- Grand Haven, Michigan OL Dan O'Neal (6-5, 285).

-- Junior defensive back Mauricio Wallace (6-0, 190) from Murfreesboro Tennessee.
