GoBlueWolverine spoke with Michael Williams (5-11, 190) from Ventura, Calif., St. Bonaventure.
What are your top five schools?
"Notre Dame, Michigan, Arizona, Oregon, and Cal."
What are your summer plans any visits?
"No school visits for me this summer. I'm too busy with 7-on-7's, school, and traveling. I will take my official visits in the fall once the season starts."
What is your timetable for your decision?
"I don't have one yet, as it comes to me I will know. I like to take
all this recruiting day by day."
What position do you prefer to play cornerback or safety?
"Safety -- its more exciting and I like to hit people."
Why didn't you go to Michigan's camp?
"We got the dates mixed up and it tuned out that I was out of town when the camp started."
Are you going to be going to any other camps this summer?
"Probably not. I don't have any extra time but I will be focusing on getting stronger and prepared for the season."
Does any one school have an edge over the others?
"I would say Michigan and Notre Dame. Between those two I don't know ... it's a really close race. If you read an article written by a Nortre Dame author it looks like I favor Notre Dame but if you read an article written by a Michigan author, it looks like I favor Michigan. It's a really tough choice for me. I really like the tradition at Notre Dame, but (U-M defensive coordinator) Ron English is a really cool guy and a good coach. So I will just have to wait and take my visits and see in the fall."
Then he joked, "Hey, maybe I'll just commit to whichever school wins the game this September!"
