The overriding factor in Legion's decision to recommit to Michigan was clearly Tommy Amaker. The two had formed a bond that, while strained, never faded away.
"I have the best relationship with Coach Amaker out of all of the coaches I've talked to," Legion explained. "It was simple for me. I talked to coach Amaker, and after our conversation a few weeks ago I had made it up in my mind that Michigan is where I wanted to be. He has stressed all along that Michigan was the place that I needed to be. He understands me and what I am trying to do."
"I'm from Michigan and this is my home," Legion continued. "I was sure this time in my decision because I see the vision for myself that Coach Amaker has laid out for me. Make no mistake, this is MY decision. Not my mom's and not Coach Green's. This feels right. It feels good to be a Wolverine again!"
Now that Legion is again in the fold, he plans to do his best to convince others to join him and Corperryale Harris in Ann Arbor. He has already identified a couple of players that will be getting calls very soon.
"It is time to get the ball running for Michigan and get things back the way they're supposed to be," an excited Legion said. "When I get to Vegas I will talk to guys like Delvon Roe and Yancy Gates because we still need more good players. Those were the two guys that were asking me why I decommitted from Michigan (at the NBA camp), so I'm going to talk to them now that I'm re-committed."
GoBlueWolverine will have more from Legion in the coming hours.
