Memphis Christian Brothers linebacker Chris Walker (6-2, 215, 4.6) has made unofficial visits to Alabama Arkansas, Auburn, Clemson, Kentucky, Louisville, Memphis, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Vanderbilt. He told GoBlueWolverine that he has two visits left to take.

What unofficial visits are you still planning to take?

"I still have to take two more unofficial visits -- to Michigan and Miami. Until I make those two remaining visits I'm not going to cut down my list. After I cut down my list, I am planning on taking all five of my official visits." "I already have three schools picked that I want to take my officials to: LSU, Alabama, and Tennessee. I still have to take these two more unofficial visits (Michigan and Miami) before I can pick the remaining two official visits."

When are you planning on visiting Michigan?

"I hope I can make it up before two-a-days start July 31st. Our season starts early this year and I really hope I can get all my unofficial visits in before football starts."

Who have you been talking to at Michigan?

"Mostly to Coach Stripling, who seems like a pretty cool guy. And I've talked to Coach Carr a couple of times."

Are you still waiting to hear from any schools?

"Not really, I've heard from everyone that I really wanted. I heard Notre Dame is going to start recruiting me hard but I don't really care, I already have most of my top schools picked."

Are you looking to go away from home or stay close to home?

"I kind of want to stay in the South but my mom said that she would most likely move to wherever I go to school so she can come watch my games."

As a junior, Walker made 83 tackles, 10.5 for a loss, 4 sacks, and 9 caused fumbles, earning 1st Team All-State honors.
