Wilson already has an official visit scheduled with Illinois on September 23. "They are recruiting me the most," Wilson said. "They text me more and are always trying to get me to come by the school because it's only like an hour and half away from my house.

"The coaches at Illinois are really cool and I think they are an up and coming program. They are improving and they'll be a top team in the Big Ten soon. I could probably go there and play early."

Wilson also has a visit set up with Notre Dame for December 1. "I just love their tradition," Wilson said. "Everything that coach Charlie Weis has done there is amazing. He's turned the program around and they'll be competing for the national championship. Also, they have great academic prestige and a degree from them takes you far.

"Michigan has good academics too. They are known for their education and their football. They have great fan support and sell out all their games."

Although he's never been to California, Wilson is interested to USC because of their recent success. "They've been winning a lot," Wilson said. "They get guys into the NFL and are one of the best teams. Distance and location don't matter to me as long as I get to play. That's all that I care about."

Wilson says he won't make a decision until after his season. "I really want to get to know all the coaches and develop a trust with them. I want to have a connection with them. I also really want to play right away and that's gonna be big for me."

He reports a 2.9 GPA and a 17 ACT.
