Pilopovich will take Swenson's place on Michigan's coaching staff after handling the administrative duties for one season. The 20-year coaching veteran brings a wealth of experience to the post, having spent three years at California University (Pa.) (1986-89), six years at Florida Atlantic University (1989-94)…where he also served as the associate head coach from 91-94, two years at Georgia State University (1994-96), four years at Robert Morris, and the five at Eastern Michigan University (2000-05)
"It's always important for staff members to be exposed to multiple areas
of our program for continued growth and flexibility," said U-M coach Tommy
Amaker. "Chuck and Dave are both invaluable to our program
and to me, and I know that they will each continue to be so in their new roles."
